Hi, everyone! This is honestly my first ever sunscreen that I bought for myself. Till then, it is almost like either I get some as gifts or I use products which do protect from the harmful sunrays. As Glyco 6 cream has to be used with a highly potent sunscreen, I thought to get it from a pharmacy itself (I have a special kind of satisfaction by using this).
This has a SPF of 30 which was good enough to impress me very well. I read very satisfying reviews about this product online and that was the second reason for getting it, first reason is being that I have an acne prone and combination skin. Read on to know if it satisfied me or not!
My Views
I bought this product during my hostel days and when Glyco 6 failed to work on me, I whole heartedly took charge of using up at least the sunscreen that I bought along with it. I usually try out new products with hesitation as almost all of them will never fail to give me pimples, the very next day!
Though there are many products in the market stating that it is non-comedogenic, not all of them really prove it from my experience. This case was not different as well.
The product comes in a baby pink color bulky tube with a round flip cap over it. As the name suggests, this sunscreen is a water based one and comes in gel form and it is not greasy. It has got a pleasant smell. Unlike other sunscreens, it doesn’t leave a whitish cast over the skin too. This has to be applied at least 15-30 minutes before sun exposure, re-apply after every 2-3 hours. The only con is that it gets washed away so easily.
I use it at least 20 minutes before leaving to college. I do have to walk some 4-5 minutes under sun to reach my department in the college. I wash my face, apply the sunscreen and then put on some talc or the compact powder. I seriously do not know if there is anything wrong there. I have tried many things out, but still it has showed me the same results consistently. For the first few days, I thought it is because of the sun. But then I purposefully skipped sunscreen and then I knew. In about 2-3 minutes after stepping out, my face starts sweating! I hardly sweat under these conditions and that’s the reason I noticed it.
My upper lip area will surely be having those tiny little droplets of sweat by the time I reach my class. And as you know, all my compact or talc will be loose by then! I am not satisfied with this highly appraised sunscreen for sure.
But one thing that is to be noticed is that I haven’t got any pimples with its use.

Final Verdict : My experience with this product was quite a different one from everyone else. Hence I feel this sunscreen is worth a try for the oily skinned beauties!
Thanks for the honest review. I have tried Curatio face washes and liked it. But I think I will skip the sunscreen…
