I am reviewing the VLCC De pigmentation face mask today. I have been having some discoloration on the skin off late and since then, trying and testing various products has been a usual thing for me. Some products have been a total waste of money but certain others did work and this one is among the ones that did!
VLCC is a reputed brand as we are well aware and the brand has launched products that caters to a wide variety of skin issues that are commonly faced by Indian women.
My Views
How do I use it? : Cleanse out your face and pat it dry. You can use a scrub too if you want an extra cleansing. Take an appropriate amount of face pack to cover the face and neck. Using your finger tips spread it evenly on the face and neck in outward motion. Leave it on the face for about 10 to 15 minutes . After the face pack dries, wash your face.
The face pack has a pretty standard packaging and comes in a white tube with an opening above. The tube is a squeeze out type tube and hence easy to use and very travel friendly as well. The lid is attached to the tube so it is even better for girls like me, who are pretty forgetful.
The product is white in color and has a very pleasant smell. I have been using this for a long time now and I am quite loving it. I have an oily skin so I had a doubt if this would break me out however nothing like that happened instead it has helped me control the excess oil on my T-zone especially. The face pack is light on the skin and spreads very easily. It gives best results if used with the VLCC De Pigmentation serum. I have been using it minus serum even then it has definitely improved my complexion. The dark spots are considerably reduced however not the same can be said about pigmentation.
It did not clear the existing pigmentation, nonetheless it instantly brightens the skin tone. I use it thrice a week before sleeping. It gives best results if used after cleansing, scrubbing and in sync with the serum from the same range. The face pack also clears the pores well and it evens out the skin. To get great results the pack needs to be applied on a regular basis. So make sure you do that and try to use it in tandem with the serum as well for a complete makeover of your skin. Use this in the night preferably and do not use soap or face wash for about 6 hours.
Price : Rs.155 for 80 g
Rating : 3.8/5
Overall I am pretty satisfied with the product as it clears my skin and brightens it too. I want to use it along with the serum and see how it works, I am sure the results will only be better!
Hey Divya, Nice Review. I am always on a lookout for de pigmentation packs/creams. I will try it.
Thank you :) I am sure you won’t be disappointed <3
I have tried a few VLCC products, but didn’t find anything great. This depigmentation face pack looks good. Will give it a try… Waiting for the depigmentation serum review also…
Thanks Archana :) Will sure do a review on the serum as well
This seems nice. But I would like something that would help lighten existing marks as well.
Hi Sangeetha.. Have you tried the Kumkumadi Thailam? I have reviewed it for MABH. That one does a pretty decent job on existing marks :)
nice review dear
Thank you Supriya :)
I have marks too on my face and I always have to put on concealer to hide it. I’m tired of it so want a permanent solution :(
VLCC never worked for me :( Glad this facepack worked for you :)
Nicely reviewed. VLCC products are affordable & quite effective..
