Good day everybody!
Today, I’m here with my review on the Ties & Toes smoothening primer. I’ve been using it for a while now since I started experimenting on makeup products again, after my chickenpox journey! Scars have head a lot now and I enjoy wearing foundations and concealers as my skin isn’t on its very sensitive-phase anymore!
I do use this primer under my makeup to help it stay intact for a longer time! As I’ve already used up half of the tube, I thought it’d be there right time to share my views on it!
The product is priced at Rs.670 for 25 ml.
My Views:
The primer comes in a flat black tube with a golden twist open cap. The packaging is similar to that of few BB creams! Though simple, the tube is travel friendly; and it fits right in my bag easily. The nozzle gives the control to dispense the amount of product you need.
The texture of this smoothening primer is thick however it spreads easily on the skin once applied. It has a cloudy color and a gel based texture that doesn’t mash up with the undertone of your skin. Some primers I’d tried in the past had a pink undertone clashing up with my yellow toned skin, resulting in a not-so-natural looking face! Soon after the application, the primer mattifies the skin and helps reduce the open pores! I always allow two minutes for it to settle down before putting on my foundation. Every time I wear it, I’m left with clean, smooth and mattified skin.
Coming to the results, it actually increases the staying power of your base makeup! I’ve tried wearing my base makeup with and without this primer; and with the primer, it stays matte for a long time! The primer also prevents the makeup from getting oxidized.
Since I’m not a regular makeup user, I cannot comment on how effective this primer is compared to the other ones in the market! However, I’m impressed of the quality of this product for the benefits it provide! It definitely helps my normal-oily skin in summers. But make sure to not over-use it or else you might end up with a slightly greasy skin! A pea sized amount is sufficient for the entire face.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this primer to anyone who’s searching for a budget primer that also works great! It is smooth; it mattifies the skin; helps minimizing open pores and moreover, it is free from any bothering fragrance!
Wow, sounds great! Will try it.
I had never heard of this brand before, but this primer sounds great.
