Hello everybody!
I’m here with a quick matte makeup look today! True to the title, I tried this look yesterday with the newly launched Infallible Reno range from L’oreal Paris.
If you’d not checked my reviews on them yet, I must say this is my current favorite foundation and I totally love using it since it looks very natural on my skin instead of being ashy or whitey unlike few other foundations in the market. It looks more like a second skin, covering most of the imperfections!

This is one of the fail-safe makeup looks you could do in a matter of 5 minutes! The blue eyeliner + fuchsia lipstick combination adds color the face! The natural coverage provided by the foundation provides a fresh look! It’s overall a perky look to try if you are bored of plain eyeliners and regular tinted moisturizers.
Face : I’ve combined and used my favorite products from L’Oreal Paris to create this look. Since it was a humid day, I skipped the moisturizer and directly applied the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Reno Liquid Foundation to my face. I dotted it all over my face and blended it really well. It gives a smooth matte finish. I then applied a thin coat of L’Oreal Paris Infallible Reno Powder Foundation to set the foundation. It provided a true matte finish without a hint of shine. I’ve not used a concealer here since the foundation does a great job in concealing my problematic areas.
Eyes : For my eyes, I used a lovely neutral shade from the L’Oreal Color Riche Quad. I then applied a thick line of L’Oreal Paris Gel Intenza Super Liner Eye Liner – Sapphire Blue on my upper lash line, which is a part of their Cannes 2015 makeup collection. It goes smooth on my eyelids with its creamy texture; and sets well! I used the same eyeliner in Diamond Black shade on my lower lash line. Though these have minute shimmer, they settle more on the matte-ier side.
Lips : I’ve used a bright Fuchsia Pink lipstick from their Cannes Collection again; the shade name is Glamor Fuchsia. It is a true blue based red that suits every skin type!
Cheeks : On my cheeks, I’ve used the L’Oreal Paris Coral Riche Moist Mat Lipstick (Swarovski Collection) in the shade Cherry Crush. I am so in love with this shade however it somehow looks too ‘neon’ on my dusky-dark skin if used as a lipstick; hence I started using it as my blush. It adds a nice flush of color to my cheeks.
I completed the look with a small yellow bindi on my forehead; I avoided two main products here – concealer and mascara but still my skin manages to look flawless (refer my no-makeup photos above); my chicken pox marks are well concealed by the foundation itself. I skipped the mascara to keep the look quick and light.
I hope you liked my makeup look! After creating this look, I’m so tempted to do another look with their set of products; but this time ‘dewy’. I’m yet to decide on that! Do let me know if you’ve any suggestions regarding my FOTDs.
Happy Monsoon. Much love!
Love your makeup look, you look so pretty Lancy <3
Thank you Rakhshanda!
Your skin looks really flawless without makeup! Using an unsuitable lipstick as a blush on cheeks is a great idea!
Thank you Mariyam!

Thank you Tapaswini!
You look great Lancy.. loved the look Is the gel liner safe to use on the lower waterline ?
Thank you Harine!
And I’m not so sure about that. Here I’ve used the gel liner on my lower lash line, which of course is safe. I used a bit of kajal on my water line.
The combination of Glamor Fuchsia and Sapphire Blue has really perked up your face. The coverage of the foundation seems too good. Nice makeup and you are really looking flawless :)
