The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash Review

After a long time, I am writing again in MABH, one of my most favourite Indian beauty blogs. I hope you guys are doing well; I am feeling great especially to be here. Anyways, recently I have changed my skin care routine, and a small part of that, I am going to review my current face wash i.e. The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash.

My Views

After marriage, since my location has been changed, the weather took a toll on my hair as well as my skin. I have always been very experimental about my face wash; I loved using every product that came new in the market. But, it was time to stick to a particular product and I thought there is one brand that I have used before and is purely harmless.

The Body Shop is very popular for its skin-friendly products and previously I have used their Tea Tree Range. This time, I wanted a face wash that would be gentle and more caring for my skin. So, the best option was Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash.

Now, coming to the product, it sure is a gentle face wash which is mild and yet cleanses very well. The texture of this face wash is indeed very creamy and thick, so pea-size amount of this product works pretty well. Although it does not lather too much, yet cleanses dirt and makeup nicely. It also rinses quickly and there is no stretchy feeling afterwards. I have sensitive skin and for me, this face wash is like match made in heaven. I use it as my daily face wash and also to remove my makeup.

It smells somewhat medicated, but I guess that is how TBS products are, they are not focused on making a ‘pretty’ product with lovely smell. One file of this face wash can give a more than 6 months of life. In summer days, my skin feels quite normal till 5-6 hours, and after that my T-zone starts to oil up. In even winter or rainy days, my skin hardly feels dry after using this face wash. Since now it is very much hot in Hyderabad, I do not use any moisturizer after washing, I only use a mild toner and I am good to go.

Verdict:

If you are looking for a daily use face wash that suits all types of skin, especially sensitive skin, then you go to try it. This Vitamin E cleanser is very gentle and caring to the skin which removes dirt, oil and makeup neatly without leaving your skin stretchy or imbalanced with oil. I have been using this face wash for the past five months, and I am in love with this thing! I would definitely recommend everyone to try it!
