Happy Sunday everyone!
Today, I am reviewing an impressive product that I’ve started using a few weeks ago. It is the Barever natural hair inhibitor, a product formulated to slow down your hair growth – means you can save huge money and time spent on the parlors. I’ve already introduced the same on MABH with my first impressions.
Price : Rs.1100 for 80 gm
Usage Directions:
My Views:
The hair growth inhibitor comes in a black plastic container with a sturdy white pump dispenser that is of good quality. As the cap shut tightly (due to the lock system), it becomes very easy to travel with the product! It comes with an usage instructions pamphlet.
As I mentioned earlier on my first impressions post, the cream runs smooth on my skin. It is white in color and has a very mild fragrance (Which is not at all the hair-removal creme types). Soon after application, it hydrates my skin making it smooth. Thankfully, it did not sting my skin! I only felt like using my regular moisturizer/body lotion after putting this cream on. I can easily skip my moisturizers for 5-6 days after my hair removal session as the product itself provides ample nourishment to the skin.
Note: I was very confused before using it as I was skeptical how would it work along with my body lotions (as they are a must for winters) I was afraid that it would affect the efficiency of the product. But fortunately, this cream doubles up as a moisturizer, thus giving me the courage to skip my body lotions after every shower!
My Experience:
1st Session : For the very first time, I started using it on my hands and legs, to minimize the hair growth. For me, it is not feasible to wax my legs whenever I wear my favorite skirt. I found the process very time consuming and messy. Hence, I badly wanted it to work fast on my legs. I used it for 5 consecutive days after the hair removal session. (Concentrating more on the legs). I noticed a slight reduction in the usual hair growth speed after using it!
2nd Session : I was already impressed with the first session’s results as the hair strands on my leg grew a lot more thinner. Even after 2-3 weeks, the hair did not look coarse as it used to. I usually don’t have thick hair on my legs or hands, but blame the biotin (that I take for my hair) or the worst hair removal cream I used, my hair (on the legs) has started growing out a lot more thicker than it used to, months ago. After the 2nd session, my hair growth rate got more slower. It was great that the product made my hair weaker, and hence, I started developing a hope for it! I wanted back my shiny, smooth legs.
3rd Session : This time, I managed to use it for a week! And the results were very noticeable. Now, the hair strands on my hands and legs are visibly thinner, and they aren’t anyone noticeable for at least 2 weeks after I wax them! I hardly wax my legs and even if I do, it doesn’t feel like putting a lot of effort to get those shiny legs. The product is a gift and it is showing very impressive results till date! I now realize how helpful the permanent hair removal solution is.
Now after using it for 3 whole sessions, I call it safe! It did not irritate my skin; it neither does dry out my skin nor does turn it red as the regular hair removal creams/strips do. The fragrance is not bothering and mainly, it did not turn my skin DULL and dark! This happens every time for me with ANY hair removal cream. Those creams instantly turn my skin darker and drier. I love tan but it’s not the healthy, lovely looking tan I get using such creams. Hair removal creams have only been horrors in my life till date!
The product claims that it can safely be used on facial hair too. I think I will not need it much for that purpose as I don’t have any stubborn hair growth on my face. (Except for the very tiny, hardly-noticeably hair strands near my mouth; the parlor lady caused it by threading the area when I didn’t even ask her to do so! Sigh). I am thinking to use it around my mouth this time. I shall definitely update the same on this post if it works! (I am sure it will!)
Availabilty : Barever
Overall, I would really call this an innovative product! You must try this you are that person who spends huge bucks on parlors and laser treatments for hair removal. It comes handy; it is easy to use; mess free; and moreover, it does actually work when it comes to the reduction of hair growth on your body! I won’t complain the price as the product really works as it claims. I still haven’t finished half of the bottle!
honestly, you just heard my mind. i was planing to ask you for the review few days back when i was thinking of epilating. :D

This seems like the most useful product as I really hate too much hair. I have thin hair that are hardly visible but still I like to be hair-free on my arms and legs mostly, So yeah this may work. Thanks for the review Lancy.

Have never heard of such a product. Quite innovative
Hi Lancy, I have sent you a mail re hiring. Kindly check that out.. :)
I had a tried similar product from Vedic line a year ago which too was very effective. Not really sure why I stopped using it.
‘ll check this out now!
I will surely try this out !!!
I prefer waxing to the creams or sometimes when I am in a hurry, I just shave. Now this would be an interesting product to try. Who doesn’t want shiny hair free legs for a longer time, right!
Thanks for the review. It is very helpful. Its been more than 4 months since you wrote this article. It will be great if you update with the current status.
