My Durga Puja Shopping Haul

I was a little buy for the last few days, managing time to study for the upcoming internal assessments and doing Puja-shopping. Now I am more or less done with both and I am too excited to share my shopping haul with you.

From the last year I was planning to buy Levis jeans. And this time my dream came true. The darker shade is a pick from the Levis Slightly Curved range. The lighter one is from Honey, a chord pant, another favorite of mine.

I planned to get some full sleeved tops this year as I have mostly sleeveless things in my wardrobe. Full sleeve tops look trendy and protect your hands from sun burn if you are roaming around, visiting puja-pandals with friends. I got the maroon top from SF. I love the oxidized silver buttons studded around the neck. The blue one is half-sleeved floral printed top from Honey. The last one is my most beloved off-white full sleeved top with little flowers all over from Bare Denim.

The prettiest thing I got for myself this year is the white dress I got as a gift from my best friend. I love the prints in black on it. I have planned to pair it with the black belt shown in the picture and a black net stocking.

Pujas are incomplete without sarees. So I got this one from my moni (mum’s sister). It is a Bishnupuri silk and Tasar combination bought from Khadi shop. I love the colour as it goes well with my skin tone. It is so soft to touch and easily manageable. I will wear loads of silver jewelries with it.

I did not buy any accessories yet as I already have loads of them and they are making the happy face photo. But my accessory hunt does not stop till the Puja is over and I will add more to the collection if I find an adorable piece.

I got two pretty bags this year. One crome colored bag with a long sling. Another is the bold red box bag with a silver sling. Both can be also used as a hand bags. Both look perfect with my new dresses.

As I am tall, I rarely wear high heels. But this time I dared to buy two of them. I will wera the black one with the dress and the blue one on some other day.

My cosmetics haul started a few months ago with the Kryolan T.V paint stick and Revlon compact I reviewed them already). This time I added a few more to the collection:

• Streatwear megashine lipgloss (smoky brown)
• Maybelline cheeky glow blush (fresh coral)
• Lotus Nail Polish (shade-38)
• Lotus Hypnotica eyeliner in black
• Meilin No transfer lipstick (shade-808)

And yes, I got the beautiful stone studded ornament for my hair! I think I am ready to rock the show. Wish me all the best, so that I can dress beautifully, gain praises and make MABH family proud! :)
