Hello beauties!
Hope everything is going super fine with you all. :) Today I’m back with another product review, something I have fallen in love with of late – White Impress Body Wash from Lux. I have always preferred body washes & shower gels over regular soaps and have already tried a good number of them from different brands. The recent one that I bought is from Lux. Although I have never been an admirer of their soap range, but still decided to try this body wash and I must admit it was one of my best decisions (when it comes to try out new cosmetic brands). Read on to see how this body wash has ‘impressed’ me!
Price : Rs. 135 for 240 ml
My Views on the product:
This body wash comes in a white colored curvaceous bottle with a flip open cap that sits quite tightly on top and makes it travel friendly. I also got a very soft, white colored loofah free with this body wash.
Now coming to the texture, this pearl-white colored body wash is little creamy but not too thick; just perfect. It has got very tiny red colored microcrystals in it, but they are very less in numbers. The smell of the body wash is quite good, but doesn’t stay on the body for more than an hour post bath.
A small amount goes a long way. I bought it about a month ago and with regular use, still left with some of the product that might continue for next 3-4 days. The best part of the body wash is that it cleanses the body really, really well and doesn’t leave any slippery feeling on the skin. It comes off easily with water and leaves with a soft, smooth & supple skin. But as I have said earlier, the red colored microcrystals are very tiny and & very less in numbers, so I’m not sure how well they exfoliate. Although this body wash claims to whiten the body, but my experience says that it doesn’t whiten at all.
Well, if you have extremely dry skin then you might get a little stretchy feeling on your skin after couple of hours of using it, so it’s better if you use your regular moisturizer after taking shower.
Positives:
- Perfect texture with a nice smell.
- Does the cleansing job really well.
- Comes off easily with water without leaving any slippery feeling on the skin.
- Makes skin soft & smooth.
- Affordable price.
Negatives
- Doesn’t exfoliate well.
- Doesn’t whiten the skin at all.
- Dry skin beauties need to follow up with a moisturizer.
- As the bottle is not transparent/semi-transparent, so it’s not possible to check how much product is left.
Will I buy it again?:
I have this tendency to try out different brands every time especially when it comes to toiletries. So full chances are there that I might buy a different body wash within next few days. :) But yes, I would definitely get back to this one in near future. I particularly love how easily it comes off, yet leaves behind soft and smooth skin. I definitely recommend it. Go for it girls!
I’ve tried their strawberry variant.. Never heard about this one.. Will definitely check this out. Good review Rashmita! :)
Thank u Lancy :) I haven’t yet tried the other variants.. How’s the strawberry one?
