Hello ladies,
It’s been really long I’ve written an article. I am doing some clay jewelry and they are turning very beautiful so couldn’t stop doing more :P
Anyways do you love nail polish especially bright, dark and glitter polishes because I do and I always dreamt of changing my nail polish every day. With these kind of polish ranges its impossible to change everyday and very painful job if considered on daily basis. Like since past year I’ve been seeing something called peel of base coat, which is very expensive for a small bottle. So, I started looking for alternatives and found one awesome, easy and economical :P alternative. Today I will be doing a tutorial on DIY peel off coat for nails sit tight :)
Read: Make Your Own Nail Colour – DIY
Things needed:
Glue (I used fevicol MR, you can also use craft glue or any other glue)
An old brush for application
Small disposable cup
Method:
This is very simple and does no take much time. Squeeze some glue into the cup and take your brush and mix it for few seconds. Now take glue on to the tip of the brush and start applying as if you are applying nail polish. Glue is white in colour in bottle or tube or whatever but turns translucent after drying so, don’t worry about colour distorting.
Do not apply thick layer like lumps as thicker it is longer it will take to dry. So, best method is apply a thin coat of glue as it dries quick and apply another coat on it as you desire as one was good enough for me. It takes around less than 30 seconds to dry completely if you are applying thin coats.
Now go ahead and apply your very own favorite nail polish and voila you are done! :D
For peeling process is actually quite simple. Take some tweezers or with your other hand start pushing upwards the nail polish. Once you get a small grip you can pull it off easily. Big plus is your nails are fresh as ever and you can go ahead and apply another nail polish right away ain’t this awesome.
Why I love it?
- Simple and quick
- No hassel
- You can wear glitter polishes without worrying now (Yayyyy!
- Acts as a protection layer in case of staining due to dark nails (Another Yayyy!)
- Don’t worry about the smell of glue as you won’t know it after applying nail polish (but I love the smell of fevicol though :P )
- Very cheap as bottle of 22.5 g is Rs. 10 and comes for a really long time as you will be using very little every time.
- A life saver :P
- Last but not least looks like you won’t be needing polish remover anymore!
