Hey lovelies!
I am really feeling good about writing this post because haircare is something we always worry about because as they say – A woman’s hair is her crowning glory. Thank you so much Lancy for giving us this opportunity. Now looking back, when my hair care was taken care of by my granny and mom, I used to have THICK LUSTROUS hair. Two fat plaits was my ‘hairstyle’ 24×7. Back then, it used to be just oil massage thrice a week and shampoo on Sundays. And my food intake was balanced like every other Indian family and I was a kid who LOVED drinking water and chomping fruits and vegetables – ANY kind of them! So you can imagine what kind of hair and skin I used to have.
Then school (10th standard) ended, and the two plaits thing started to bother me. I wanted to leave hair open and thus got myself my first fancy hair cut (until then it was just trims done by my mom at home). Thankfully, the cut wasn’t too bad and my hair was still lustrous and thick. This was the time when I started applying packs like henna, curd, eggs etc to my hair on weekends. This is by far the BEST phase my hair was in.

After this, junior college (12th standard) ended too and I went off to West Bengal to pursue my graduation. Now, I come from a place where the highest temperature is like 35 degrees and one sunny day is followed by 3 rainy ones. Also, the water in my hometown is like some magic spring water. It does wonders to skin and hair. But after I shifted to West Bengal, within a span of just TWO months in hostel, I lost 1/3rd of my hair! Yeah, you heard me right :( Scorching heat, dry winds, bad unpalatable food, horrendous water all of these robbed me of my hair and skin. I became 3 shades darker and bald patches started showing.
I started taking vitamin supplements and that did tame down the alarming hairfall rate a bit but my orginial hair was gone. But slowly, after I incorporated almonds and more dairy products into my diet, I could see some improvement. But yes, hairfall which was practically non-existent in my hometown was still happening now. Its my sixth year in hostel now and my final month too. I seriously want to get back my original hair now!
I came across a hair oil and shampoo range which worked wonders for me even in this place with extreme climate. You can see in the pictures, it’s the Kesh King range. I have been using their entire range of oil, shampoo, conditioner and capsules (Forgot to add picture) since two months and am extremely happy that I do not see a SINGLE strand on my comb now! I don’t know how it works, but it did work miraculously on me.

Next, I use a pack of Henna, curd, eggs, and coconut oil whenever I get time. I also add some coffee to it coz it gives a rich color to my already brown-black hair. When I do not have time for all these, I just take some fresh curd and apply it all over my hair. On washing it off, it gives me the ‘nutria-shine boost. I just LOVE curd on my hair. Also, I never keep henna packs for more than two hours on my hair as it tends to dry my hair out then.
Right now, my hair has got soft waves (it was straight before) and manageable. Now coming to the point, I really really want to use MABH fast growth hair oil because I want my volume back. I have read really good reviews about it and can’t wait to try it out. I really hope MABH oil helps me gain back what I have lost in these 6 years! :)
Ab pata chala tere sundar baalon ka raaz.. :P
