Avon was a brand I always loved during high school for their amazing product range all the while in the range of people like me. I still look forward to the brand for some skincare items. So when I was looking for a cream that is not greasy and will hydrate my face in the winters my friend suggested Avon Nourishing Skin Cream. Read on to know how I feel about it.
Price and Quantity:
50 gm for around Rs.99
My Take:
The cream comes in a tube which is simple looking with a blue screw lid top. The packaging is plain and looks quite dull. The cream is white in color and applies to a transparent finish.
The cream is not at all greasy. I hate most creams on my face, but this one was perfect. It has a smooth texture, and gets easily absorbed in the skin. It keeps the skin hydrated for a good 8-9 hours. The cream has a strong fragrance which is good and not OTT.
The cream makes for a perfect all season cream. The packaging is travel friendly and can be kept in the purse for application on the go. It does not leave a film on the skin, it sinks right in the skin. The cream just sinks into the skin and lets it feel hydrated. It has almond oil which is also a good part of it.
Likes:
- Non greasy
- Keeps skin hydrated
- All season cream Light weight, does not feel sticky
- Contains Almond oil for smooth and soft skin
- It is gentle to the skin
- Needs little amount for each use so one tube lasts long
- Allergy tested
Dislikes:
- Contains parabens
- Might not be sufficient for very dry skinned ladies
Will I Recommend?
Yes I will repurchase this cream as it works for my combination skin too. The cream is great for mixing with foundation too. I use that trick when I go out for casual outings on winter days. It keeps the look light and does not feel heavy or sticky.
Will I Repurchase?:
Yes I will surely repurchase this. Actually this is my second tube and I have two in stock at present too. So you can imagine it’s an important part of my makeup vanity. I use it a lot and it’s the best cream for winter for me. Do give this a try if you can.
will definitely not be sufficient for me as i have super dry skin on my hands! :-)) :-))
I agree. If you want a cream that will work good for dry hands try the same cream from their winter cream range. I’ve heard its more hydrating. :)
