Tresemme is a widely known brand abroad and now it has ventured into the Indian market with their new hair care range. Well I had used two of their Shampoos before and wanted to try the new one as soon as it came to stores. But to my amazement it became OOS on the online sites and my local shop was unable to get hold of it so I picked it up from Spencer’s in Kolkata.

My Take:
The conditioner comes in a bottle which looks similar to the normal TRESemme shampoo bottles. The bottle is white in color with a red cap. I love the way TRESemme products have a press open top. The white bottle surely helps to differentiate it from the shampoo.
I used this both with my TRESemme smooth shine shampoo and TRESemme Keratin Smooth shampoo. Both times I have loved the effect. I naturally have an oily scalp which turns oily within 2 days. But on first use I saw this kept my hair and scalp oil free for 3 days.
I have manageable hair but it tends to become rough with daily wear and tear. But this made it looking smooth and manageable and on the straighter claim I feel it turned my hair a bit straight for the first day but it turned into wavy (natural) hair the next day. This may be caused by the fact that I have waist length hair and I do it into a braid before I sleep. But it did keep my hair smooth and silky till I washed it.
PROS:
- Affordable
- You need moderate amount for application. I have waist length hair so I need a bit more product but on normal length shoulder length hair it will last more time.
- Easy to apply and wash
- Keeps hair smooth and manageable for 2-3 days
- Is light and does not weight hair down
- Will not make hair greasy
CONS :
- Availability online is limited and local stores here are totally unaware of the new launch :(
So Will I Repurchase?:
Yes I will. I found this quite good for my hair. And though I do not recommend this to get straight hair this is good as a regular conditioner.
Would This Be Good For Very Dry Hair?
