Mixture of oils, I swear by for my hair care…
Almond-Olive-Neem-Castor-VitaminE-Glycerin, a mixture of all oils is what I depend upon for my hair care. This mixture some how gives me satisfaction that I am providing all necessary nourishment for my hair and scalp. A small bottle of all these oils are easily available at any super market store or drug store.
All these oils have great health and beauty benefits. Each oil alone is a solution for all possible hair problems. Nourishing the dry irritating scalp, split ends, dandruff, dry hair strands, you name your hair problem, and all of these oils have remedies for you.
Castor oil, Vitamin E oil and Glycerin are very thick in consistency, and using them alone for your hair is a huge mess. So, mixing them with some other oil to thin it is the best option.
Prepare your mixture of hair oil:
You will need
- 3 spoons of almond oil.
- 3 spoons of olive oil.
- 3 drops of neem oil. (Do not add more. It smells terrible.)
- Half spoon castor oil.
- 1 Vitamin E capsule. (Cut open the capsule. You will get thick Vitamin E oil.)
- Half spoon clear glycerin.
Put the mixture on flame for just 30 seconds so that the thick oils mix well. Apply the warm oil on to the scalp and leave for about 2 hours. Wash with your all time mild shampoo.
awesome Chand :) never mixed oils before…I rather prefer to use them individually but once you know everything works well, mixing can be done without probs :) one thing, doesn’t glycerin make it sticky??? I love applying warm oils….that’s sooooo soothing :)
to lance – did you check out my comment on that aloevera post…don’t remember the name, sorry!!!
Yups Swati :) Checked it just now.. will reply there :D How was your day?
hi…..using glycerin alone is very sticky…..when u mix it with others oils and warm it, it is just like any other thin oil. glycerin locks the moisture of your hair and scalp….
