While choosing a scrub, I take care to look for the ones in which the exfoliation beads are not gritty or too harsh on my skin. I don’t need hard exfoliation since that would do more harm to my face! I was at the Himalaya Herbals store the other day when I spotted this baby! The sales girl told me to try using this scrub for a cleaner skin. My skin is always clean because I wash it almost zillion times a day! Also, I have no acne; no pimples (might be because of this face washing habit!).
So this product contains licorice and dammer, which are said to help regulate the melanin synthesis. The apricot granules are the working agents here to scrub away the dead skin cells. Also, it is said to remove blackheads, if any (Luckily I don’t have any!). I never have too much expectation on any product, so it was the thing with this one too!

The product comes in a plastic tube packaging, which is quite handy. The cap on the body of this tube locks pretty well. It doesn’t come open even when I drop it in my bag. So if you are planning to take this along with you during a travel, this product won’t make you unhappy! The product comes out as soon as I press it gently. A coin sized amount works perfectly for my whole face and neck portion.
The scrub has a soft yet thick consistency but spreads easily. I wash my face with plain water and then apply it and massage for 2-3 minutes after which I wash it off! Then I pat dry my face gently. My skin feels soft and supple! After the use, I feel my skin really moisturized, like a bit greasy but not that evident. So I use it before going to bed, in that way I don’t feel the greasiness. In the morning I use a gentle face wash.
The scrubbing beads or exfoliants are not at all harsh on the skin, making it highly usable. The cream like texture pampers the skin while scrubbing. It has a floral kind of scent attached to it which stays on for a while which is really nice!
