NYX has always wooed the ladies with some of their very affordable makeup products and this particular lip gloss range is a treat for all lip gloss lovers. While even Indian brands are charging more than these babies they are such a steal. So please read on to know how I feel about the lip gloss.

My Take on NYX Girls Lip Gloss Frosted Red: 

People have some favourite things, right? Like some love mangoes and some like cherry. I have a soft corner for lipsticks and for me a lip gloss was a complete no-no. I naturally have fuller lips and gloss simply made them look even more plumped up. I simply did not like glosses. But even then I picked these up just because I loved the colour and also wanted to check this range out.

The packaging is simple and effective. The black lid has a doe foot applicator which is quite effective. The plastic long bottle like design is also very travel friendly and can be tossed into your vanity bag without any problem.

The consistency of the gloss is medium, not too sticky and not too runny. It glides on easily on the lips. It looks like a bright red with minute shimmers but on the lips the colour is quite sober and not OTT at all. It can be worn for casual day events as well as night events. Though the shimmers are not very prominent it does make the lips look a bit shinier.

Why I like this Lip Gloss?:

• Affordable
• Many shades to choose from
• Travel friendly design
• Minute shimmers
• Not very sticky

Why I don’t like this Lip Gloss?:

• Shimmers may not be everyone’s preference
• It does tend to feather away and the shimmer particles sometimes cause problem

Well, if you would like a shimmer lip gloss at an affordable price this is ideal. But for those who do not love shimmer do not try this product.

Will I repurchase?:

No, given the fact that I usually do not use lip glosses I would rather stay away.
