Patanjali Body Ubtan Review

patanjali body ubtan

Ubtans hold a special position in Indian weddings. Almost all Indian weddings entail an elaborate ceremony of ubtan application followed by singing and dancing as popularised by movies. And most of us would still have fond memories of a wedding being played in our mind right now. Isn’t it?

Coming to movies, do you have any favorite wedding song that compels you to let your hair down and showcase your latkas, jhatkas and thumkas? If yes, let us know through the ‘comments section’. Mine at the moment is ‘Banno tera swagger’ from Tanu weds Manu Returns!

Anyway, now that the topic is ‘ubtans’, So today I am going to review the body ubtan that I bought from a Patanjali store in my neighbourhood.

Patanjali Herbal Henna Review

my hair

Hello lovely people!

I have already mentioned the paramount importance of henna in my hair care routine. Dried and grounded henna is indeed the best because it is absolutely free from all kinds of preservatives and colorants, but for a lazy soul like me, drying the henna leaves and grinding them is indeed a monotonous task and that is where these ready-made henna powders come to rescue.

I have been using Nupur henna powder since the time I started applying henna to my hair and it has never given me a chance to complain. I use henna solely for conditioning and Nupur henna has never disappointed me in that respect! It makes my hair very silky.

I picked Patanjali henna just for the sake of trying it as the indigenous brand has never disappointed me. And they are so economical that you can pick lots and lots of products and the price would hardly hurt your pocket.

Price : Rs 35 for 100 g; Buy : Amazon.in

My Views:

This henna powder comes in a simple plastic packaging with ingredients, manufacturing date and directions of usage printed on it. It claims to contain around 9 herbs besides henna which include neem, gooseberry, tea leaves etc.

The powder is fine textured, dark green in color and smells like dried henna leaves, a bit different from the Nupur henna powder. Nupur henna has a slight pleasant smell than this one. It is also stated on the pack that you have to use it within 180 days once you have opened the pack.

Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel Review

Hello everyone!

Today I am going to review the first product I brought from Patanjali. Aloe vera gel is my favourite moisturizer ever. But unfortunately, pure aloe (the homemade version!) gave me rashes so many times that I had to look for processed ones. This is my second brand when it comes to Aloe vera. Let’s see how this one fared. Shall we.?

Price : Rs.80; Buy : Amazon
