5 Tan Removal Recipes that Worked for ME! : Usage and Photos

sandalwood face pack ingredients

Hello Everyone,

Time for another DIY post and this post is for all those who suffer from tanning throughout the summer. This is truly frustrating. Most of the time we take all the precautions like applying sunscreen and using umbrella, but we cannot escape tanning. When I was in my school and college, I suffered heavily from tanning. I just used to ignore it. Once my college life got over, I had a break for 3-4 months before I got my first job. And it was during that break, I noticed my arms, feet, neck had lost their complexion and I am severely tanned. This was so bad. I just had to do something and I started searching madly for ways to de-tan myself. Lots & lots of beauty magazines, internet.. I kept no stone unturned. And at that time, I came across a few homemade tan removal recipes that worked wonders for me.

Today I’m going to share few of those amazing homemade sun tan removal packs & scrubs.

Tan Removal Facial At Home : 4 Easy Steps

facepack

This is the time of the year I hate at Kolkata. It rains at times and it is too sunny otherwise. Hectic college schedule is as usual on and it is nearly impossible to come back home dog tired and again go back to some parlor for skin care. But the festive season is just a month away. And if you are not looking pretty during the Pujas (Bengalis and their Durga Puja.. I hope you all know about it) Well, you are not a true Indian!!

This is the time I get this facial done at home, using stuffs I find in kitchen. It helps me to get rid of my tans and also gives bright glow. The fun part is you can do it once a week if you feel like too. I think any lazy bums like me can try this awesome facial regime.

Cleansing : Well, nothing can beat besan and milk mixture as a cleanser. The lactic acid in milk acts wonderfully on the tanned skin. Mix some besan and milk to make a paste. Use it massage your face in circular motions. If it feels too dry, take a little rose water. Continue this process for five to ten minutes, and then wash off properly and pat dry your face. You will see loads of tan spots reduced and a glow on your face already.

Ayurvedic Hair Mask for Healthy Hair : Do It Yourself

ayurvedic hair mask for healthy hair

Hello everyone,

This is my first post for MABH and I am so excited for that. Today I am going to share an ayurvedic hair mask recipe. The other day, I was reading a survey on hair problems, where it has been described that 9/10 girls suffer from hair problems. We use so many terms like ‘hair fall’, ‘dandruff’, ‘frizz’ and etc. to describe our hair problems and the only solution and priority should be that keeping the hair healthy as much as possible. Given the list of chemicals in a hair product now-a-days, it is better to stay away from them. It says that ayurveda has cure for everything so once a week I apply this hair mask to keep my hair healthy and free from all the problems.

Kryolan TV Paint Stick : Review, Swatches, FOTD

kryolan tv paint stick review

Hi everyone!

I have recently started following this blog and it has become the land of fairy tales for me. I visit this site more than I do Facebook these days. I have learnt so much from all the posts here, I thought I should share something that will help many.

I am an oily skinned girl. I think God collected stuffs to create an oil mine and then mistakenly created me. well; I think it is same for many of you staying in India. And finding a make up product that suits this kind of skin is a big tiresome job. I kept searching for foundations and compacts that will keep the oil at bay or at least won’t let the oil ruin the make-up. After years of failed experiments and searches I came across this marvelous way of using this marvelous product that helps me to maintain a non-so-oily-yet-beautiful avatar.

Price : Rs. 1000 for 25 g

DIY Moisturizing Coffee Scrub for Dry Skin

Hi Girls,

Here I am back with another DIY post. Ever since I have tried my homemade hair spa & got excellent result, I got pretty much hooked up into homemade beauty treatments. They are easy to make, free from chemicals & gives you a kind of satisfactory feeling that ‘Yes, I made it & its working’.

I am basically a huge coffee and for me, my Dad makes the tastiest coffee in this world. I have to have at least a cup of coffee made by my Dad every single day. I have always wanted to incorporate coffee into my skincare regime as I am simply obsessed with its aroma and have often fantasized of my beauty products smelling like coffee (I know it sounds a little weird)!! As they say a lot can happen over a cup of coffee, so one fine sunny morning with a cup of coffee in my hand, I started toying with several ‘permutation combination’ to add coffee in my skincare routine and after a few trial and error I came up with this easy to make, amazing coffee scrub.

So today I am going to share my ‘brainchild’ with all you beautiful ladies out there!!

Things you will need:

  • Grounded coffee
  • Olive oil
  • Honey
  • Salt
  • Powdered sugar
