Hibiscus Hair Pack to Combat Dry Hair and Dandruff : Before and After Photos

hibiscus hair pack for dry hair and dandruff

Hello girls!

Here I am back with another DIY post (after the marigold face pack recipe I shared for dry skin and acne!) and this one is a homemade hair pack to combat dry hair and dandruff. This recipe literally saved my life. I always used to have problem free hair, except occasionally suffering from dandruff. But it was never too serious and a few washes with anti dandruff shampoo were enough to get rid of that. During last year, all of a sudden, my dandruff problem increased like never before.

Anti dandruff shampoos, few home remedies, but nothing had worked. And I had to go and see a doctor. My doctor prescribed me an anti dandruff solution and a medicated shampoo. Once I started using them, my dandruff started to reduce slowly. But this medication left me with very, very dry hair and I had to stop it in midway. My hair always used to be soft and silky. This dryness was so bad that no oil, shampoo or conditioner worked for me. I just had to find a way to get my soft hair back. At that time, a cousin of mine advised me to apply hibiscus and fenugreek on my hair and also suggested me a hair pack containing these two ingredients. And that pack worked wonders for me. So today, I am going to share the hair pack with you all!

DIY Heat Protectant Hair Spray : Tutorial and Photos

before and after

Hi Girls!

I was gifted a hair tools range from my friends for my birthday (yay!). Since then I could not stop straightening and curling my hair. It has almost become a part of my hair routine. After a month or so I noticed my hair lacked that lustrous shine I used to have and I developed split ends! (sob sob).

Then I decided to ask my hair stylist what can I do to get my shine and healthy growth back without stopping the usage of my straightener and curler. She suggested me to use the heat protectant spray. I went to a store and bought a heat protectant spray that was way too costly and did not do a thing to protect my hair from the heat.

So I researched online and found out that heat protectant sprays are the products used to lock in the moisture of your hair and provide you with an extra buffer of moisturisation . And then I thought to myself there is no point wasting money on these salon formulations. I decided to make one myself and here is what I came up with!

At Home Hair Spa Benefits : 2 Recipes I Swear By

hot oil treatment

Hello All!

How much love do you show when it comes to your hair? I can’t get enough of the hair spas I do at home! They are not only relaxing but they tend to turn my hair noticably softer and healthier. I do run my fingers through my hair the day I get my spa done. Personally, I find home-made treatments better than the parlor ones due to some reasons. Let us check them today with 2 effectice DIY recipes I love!

Benefits of At Home Hair Treatments:

1. They are affordable! : It doesn’t mean unless you shell out a lot of money, soft silky mane is not possible to get. You can achieve the same with your DIY hair spas. It only takes a bit of patience and time; at the end, you will surely be falling in love with your hair! If you are not comfortable with the preparation of hair masks, you can buy a nice herbal one from the store and perform your spa at home. Instead of going to the parlors, try the recipe at least once at home – you will know how much it is worthy.

2. You know what you put on your hair : This is the most important factor to notice. Do you know that does they put on your scalp and hair during the treatment? Are you aware of the ingredient list or anything else? Things will be clear if you do the spa at home. You know what ingredients you add to the spa oil, mask or whatever may be. You can be sure you are not using something harmful on your delicate hair.

3. Saves Time and Travel : Don’t be deceived by the saying ‘hair spas at home’ are messy, time consuming and are a headache! I follow different recipes (natural) and the results are just good as ever. You can really do a quick spa in a hour if you want. This requires proper oily and washing – do check out my hot oil spa tutorial for the same. (I am also sharing the recipe below!) On the other hand, you cannot say how long will it take to get a spa done in parlors. They may ask you to wait, for long hours if it is their process. And moreover, when you do something at home you don’t need to travel!

Note: I am in no way discouraging you about clinical/parlot treatments. Few of them are still great. I am just sharing with you the benefits of getting it done at your home in an easy way. I do this all the time – with great results every time! You can follow it once to realize the benefits.

How to Do a Hot Oil Treatment for Hair? : Tutorial

results of hot oil treatment

Hello people!

Today, I am going to share with you a tutorial on how to do a spa-like hot oil hair treatment at home. Lately, I mentioned about it on my monsoon hair care routine. I do it often to make my hair manageable, dandruff free and silky – after which I use the rose coconut hair spa mask (DIY recipe). So this is how I do a simple treatment at home with warm oil, to get softer hair instantly either along with the mask, or without it. This can be done easily in an hour or two; but mind you, the results will be something you love!

Comb and Detangle Your Hair

The de-tangling process should be done before you get the oil ready. If not, the oil will again come down to the room temperatue in mean time you comb you hair. Be prepared with detangled hair before you start. I recommend using a wide tooth comb.

P.S: I am eyeing out for a good wooden comb. Any suggestions?
