Ubtans hold a special position in Indian weddings. Almost all Indian weddings entail an elaborate ceremony of ubtan application followed by singing and dancing as popularised by movies. And most of us would still have fond memories of a wedding being played in our mind right now. Isn’t it?

Sometimes, we adopt over-the-counter medicines and creams to rid ourselves off them. Don’t we? I, too have an old scar on my right cheek that I desperately want to get rid off.

One fine afternoon, while flipping across channels on TV, I stumbled across an advert of Melas Skin Cream that claimed to do away with all our old and deep scars. Infused with optimism and zest, I thought of rushing (like the Coyote from the Road Runner Show) straight to the nearby chemist to grab one.

As someone rightly said – Great skin does not require makeup but an excellent skin care regime, so it goes without saying that investing in good skin care products, chalking out a detailed routine for one’s skin has to be a priority! And yes, all you lazy couch potatoes out there, stick to the plan. It takes patience and only patience after a point.

Anyway, I stumbled upon a face mask in the market one fine day which caught my fancy simply because it had the word ‘clarifying’ embossed on its label. Today, I will review it. It is none other than the Dabur Uveda Clarifying Face Mask! Let’s see how it performs and then prepare its report card.

Kelly, Hair by the queen of uncoventionality Lady Gaga, Whip my hair by Willow Smith… all these songs besides being chartbusters share one more common feature. By the very title of these songs, you must’ve guessed what the common fetish is. It’s none other than their penchant for hair!

If you remember any song (Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Bangla, Gujarati, Assamese, Mayalee etc.) which romanticizes the beauty of one’s hair, do share with me through the “comments section”.
